Overview
Pennidrop is an AI-powered accounting assistant that streamlines the financial chores of solo entrepreneurs and small businesses by automating bookkeeping, budgeting, forecasting, and even tax calculations, while simultaneously coaching users in plain language so they build real financial confidence.
What i did
Pennidrop is a personal product design project exploring how AI can make accounting simpler for small-business owners. I designed the core product experience, including the ‘For You’ dashboard, AI-guided forecasting flows, and permission-based accountant access, turning complex bookkeeping tasks into a more intuitive and collaborative journey.
I also designed and built the Framer waitlist page to communicate the product vision and, as an experiment, had over 100 people join the waitlist. Maybe one day I’ll build it, or perhaps the evolution of AI in the coming years will make the idea even simpler and more powerful than what I originally envisioned.
